Pressure Die

The Pressure Die maintains constant pressure between the tube and the die throughout the bend.
PressureDie

The pressure die moves with the tube and determines the point of bend. Since they usually follow the tube around the bend, pressure dies are sometimes also referred to as ‘followers’. Although rare, there are times that a pressure die remains static and does not move with the tube. In these scenarios, there may be several rotation valves located in a row.

Similar to the Clamp Die, we see the same variety of parameters with the pressure die depending on the equipment used. The size of the groove will depend upon the outside diameter (OD), the center line radius (CLR), and the maximum degree of bend (DOB). One of the most common methods of clamping is an exchange Pressure Clamp with brackets and a wiper die.
